High School Teacher – 1-Year Assignment, 1.0 FTE – Shakopee High School

Job Summary:
Courses to be taught: Business Education, Social Studies, FACS.

Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student’s ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.

Qualifications:

• Valid MN teaching license in Social Studies, Business, FACS, and/or the ability to achieve an Out of Field Permission (OFP) for teaching outside of your licensure area
• Strong classroom management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff
