Health Assistant Substitute Qualifications:
Ability to think critically and problem solve
Ability to work cooperatively with children and adults
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to record and maintain accurate health records
Ability to be a team player

Applicants must be, at minimum, currently certified in: CPR and Basic First Aid
Prefer applicants with:
LPN licensure, Med Technician certification, or CNA certification

Health Assistant Substitute Job details:

  1. Administer daily medications
  2. Provide first aid to ill or injured students
  3. Maintain student health records
  4. Perform miscellaneous clerical duties for health office as requested by the Licensed School Nurse or Principal

Position: 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM each day (7.25 hours per day) Student Contact days. Salary:  $14.00 per hour.
