Head Coach – Cheer Team

Season Dates: August 12, 2024 – January 31, 2025
Hours: 3:00pm to varies
 

Duties:
Oversee all aspects of the Centennial High School Cheer Team program including but not limited to setting up practices and competition schedules for the program; supervision of athletes at practices and competitions; care and maintenance of program equipment; arranging team transportation; willingness to work in collaboration with the Centennial Middle School Cheer Team and Centennial Community Education Must be able to adjust work schedule for practices and games.

Preferences:
A BA/BS Degree and MN Teacher License with coaching certificate highly preferred.

Qualifications:
A strong background in high school, collegiate, and/or club cheer as a participant and coach is required. Strong work ethic and dedication to furthering the benefits of participation in co-curricular activities. Leadership skills including but not limited to organization, vision, motivation, and conflict resolution. Ability to work collaboratively with student athletes, parents, staff, and community.

Salary:
Compensation in accordance with Centennial Schools Teacher Contract – Schedule B
