SUMMARY:
Anticipated openings for HCM Peer Coach positions, with an emphasis on working with Special Services. Coaches provide peer observation, feedback, and coaching for tenured staff.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Conduct coaching cycles, which include pre and post meetings 
  • Support teachers in goal setting and reflection meetings
  • Attend bi-monthly peer coach meetings
  • Participate in Collaborative Meetings
  • Attend training and staff development required for the position.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Seven years teaching experience
  • State of MN Licensure in field of expertise
  • Up to a five-year commitment to the position
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge and application of instructional and classroom management best practices
  • Willingness and ability to work closely with staff on professional growth
