Engage, connect, make a difference by joining our Community Education team as a Gymnastics Instructor!

As a Gymnastics Instructor I you will instruct and spot gymnastics for preschooler through advanced students! You will work with each
child to develop their skills on events like floor, bars, beam, and vault. 
 

Duties and Responsiblities:

  • Demonstrate and teach basic through intermediate level moves with proper technique.
  • Direct warm-ups for intermediate levels.
  • Participate and assist with continuous training and evaluation of staff as requested.
  • Abide by all policies and procedures including completion and submission of all necessary forms including injury reports.
  • Assist with marketing efforts including promoting classes, registrations and special events as requested.
  • Communicate clearly with students and parents. 
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Previous gymnastics participation, knowledge and leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic spotting techniques for gymnastics moves.
  • Excellent communication skills with students, parents and co-workers.
  • Ability to stay focused and on task

Schedule: 

  • 5 to 20 hours per week
    • Days of work per week vary between Monday through Saturday
  • 3 to 6 hours per shift
