General Education Paraprofessional, St. Croix Valley Area Learning Center, 3 hours/day

Title: General Education Paraprofessional 

Work Schedule:  3. hours/day, Student contact days

Start Date:  2022-23 school year

Salary:  $18.00/hour

Job Summary: To assist the teacher in the advancement of the educational experiences of students in an interactive, caring, and supportive manner.

Qualifications: One year of experience working with children in an educational setting preferred. 

Requirements: In order to work as a Special Education Paraprofessional, you must  meet the state requirement of being Highly Qualifed prior to your start date.  To be considered Highly Qualifed, you must have ONE of the following; a Bachelor’s Degree or an Associates Degree, or 60+ hours of post-secondary education, or a Passing Score on the ParaPro Exam.  Please be prepared to submit documentation in support of your qualifications. (Acceptable documentation includes transcripts from the college or a copy of the ParaPro Exam report.)
