About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for preschool and kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
The position is part of a district-wide team of Licensed School Nurses and health paraprofessionals who work to support STMA schools, and will primarily serve Community Education. Responsible for identifying, removing, and remediating health-related barriers to learning and to ensure the health and safety of students and staff. Serves as a liaison between school, parents/guardians, and community in health-related matters. For more information, please see the job description for this District Health Coordinator position.
Start date: Immediate opening
FTE: 1.0 FTE
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Assignment: 225 days/year
Salary Range: $73,750-105,765 for 225 contract days per fiscal year.
Requirements & Qualifications
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and all requirements of the MN Professional Education Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) licensure as a school nurse (LSN).
