Description

This is a job level 10 (hourly range: $29.99-$31.32), twelve month, full time position.  The position includes insurance, vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays. If the person in this position holds an ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification they will be paid and additional $2.05 per hour.
 
The person in this position will coordinate, monitor and direct the maintenance and repairs of all district vehicles and ensure they are safe for transportation of students and staff.
 
Applicants should:

  • Have knowledge of State and Federal regulations pertaining to school buses
  • Maintain a current Minnesota commercial driver’s license (CDL) with school bus endorsement
  • Have professional business ethic when bidding, quoting and purchasing.
  • Have knowledge of recall and warranty issues
  • Have the ability to supervise and train employees
  • Have knowledge of maintenance and repair on buses and school vehicle
