Family and Consumer Science Teacher

The Austin Public School District is hiring a Family & Consumer Science teacher at Austin High School starting in the 2024-2025 school year.   

The teacher hired for this position may teach courses in child development, working with young children,  life skills, interior design, and or foods. 
We also continue to explore opportunities that would allow us to offer concurrently taught classes with our local community college. 
 

Qualifications: Candidates must have or be able to obtain a Family and Consumer Science teaching license from the MN Dept of Education.

Salary/Benefits:  Annual Salary Range is according to education and experience. Also includes a competitive benefits package of paid time off, health insurance, life insurance, etc., according to the AEA Working Agreement located within the Human Resource section of the Austin Public Schools website at www.austin.k12.mn.us.
