TEACH WITH US! We are currently recruiting licensed teachers for our summer 2024 targeted services program, ExcitED! Following MN Department of Education best practices for summer learning, this program will prioritize project-based, hands-on learning and social/emotional learning in addition to math and reading instruction. Read on for more information, and see the two ways to apply below.
2024 Program Dates, Times and Location:
Monday-Thursday, July 8-July 18, 9:00am-3:00pm
Countryside Elementary School
Teacher Training & Classroom Set-up Date
Wednesday, June 26
10:00am-3:00pm
Licensed Teachers Have Two Options:
Option 1
• Teach M-TH, 9:00am-12:00pm
• Curriculum for SEL/Career exploration, Math and Reading components provided
Option 2
• Teach M-TH, 9:00am-3:00pm
• In addition to morning schedule above, teach ONE, four-hour, project-based enrichment module to four different student cohorts.
• Curriculum for afternoon cohorts can be provided, but teachers are also encouraged to develop a unit based on individual interest. Paid curriculum planning time is available
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the educational field
· Minnesota Teacher License
Salary and Benefits: $45.00/hour (Bachelor’s Degree), $55.00/hour (Master’s Degree)
