Support Staff | Educational Support Professionals | Osseo Area Learning Center | Closing: until filled


Job summary: Osseo Area Learning Center is looking for an ESP who has diverse skills. Candidates must be able to direct and redirect students in a confident manner; possess strong academic skills; have a positive attitude; be willing to work as part of a team; and be flexible with their daily assignments.

Responsibilities and tasks include: 

  • Supervise students in non-instructional activities such as, lunchroom.
  • Assist in general classroom operational procedures.
  • Work directly with students individually or in small groups on academic skills.
  • Assist students and teachers in large group activities/projects.
  • Seek out special instructional materials to assist with students having a particular learning problems – example: ¬†separate math skill worksheet, not a part of teacher’s curriculum.
  • Strong computer skills including, word, excel, outlook.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Salary:  View Classification II (2) salary grid on page 4, section 2, and classification, page 5, section 2 on Educational Support Professional contract

Work schedule:  6.5 hours/day
