EPIC Youth Programs Paraprofessional (Summer 2024)

EPIC Program Sites

CLASSIFICATION:

MSEA Level 1

RATE OF PAY:

$18.13/hour

HOURS PER DAY:

Various hours/day (flexible based upon progam need and availability)

DAYS PER WEEK:
Monday – Thursday

START & ENDING TIME:
Morning Shift: 7:45 AM to 12:30 PM
Afternoon Shift: 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM
**Full day shifts potentially available based on program need and availablity)

WORKING DAYS PER YEAR:

Program runs June 20, 2024 – August 8, 2024 

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
 

• Strong reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents.
• Ability to problem solve, be sensitive to the needs of academically challenged students.
• Ability to supervise children in a positive manner.
• Knowledge of discipline policies & procedures.
• Ability to follow the teacher’s plan & direction; monitor situation in the classroom & adjust accordingly.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience working with children.
