Position: Elementary Teacher
Beginning Date: 2024-2024 School Year
Location: Garlough Elementary School
Salary: Per Teachers’ Master Agreement 2023-2025
Qualifications:
- Minnesota Elementary Education License (K-6);
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, staff, administration and the general public;
- Knowledgeable regarding relevant learning technology and proficient in its use;
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
- Experience and proficiency in the implementation of current best practices in instruction and learning;
- Passion for environmental education, teaching with animals and teaching environmental stewardship.
- Willingness to commit to year round outdoor learning experiences.
- LETRS trained or demonstrated understanding of the Science of Reading
- Experience with and understanding of strategies for increasing oracy and providing daily low stakes writing opportunities.
- Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions during the school day.
- Spanish-speaking candidates preferred.
