Position: Elementary Teacher Grade 1- 1.0 FTE
Start Date: 2023-2024 School Year
Location: Garlough Elementary School
Salary: Per the 2021-2023 Teachers’ Master Agreement
Qualifications:
- Minnesota Elementary Education License (K-6);
- Exceptional classroom management skills.
- Ability to develop strong and trusting relationships with our youngest learners.
- Ability to develop a safe classroom community.
- Love of environmental education.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, staff, administration and the general public.
- Knowledgeable regarding relevant learning technology and proficient in its use.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;.
- Experience and proficiency in the implementation of current best practices in instruction and learning.
- Spanish-speaking candidates preferred.
