The Austin Public School District is seeking to hire Full Time Elementary Education Teachers effective for the 2024-2025 school year.
Applications will be accepted, and highly qualified candidates will be interviewed now until the position is filled. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a proper License from the Minnesota Department of Education.
Degree Information:
Type of degree: (B.S., M.A., etc.) Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
Job Summary:
Delivers classroom and individualized instruction according to curriculum and/or plan guidelines.
Researches and prepares lesson plans.
Maintains student records concerning attendance, testing, behaviors, progress, and related academic information.
Monitors students behaviors in and outside of the classroom and intervenes or refers student to appropriate personnel.
Communicates with staff, administrators, and parents concerning student behavior, abilities, school programs and academic progress.
Attends staff meetings to assist in curriculum development, developing individualized action plans, discuss student progress, and develop related programs.

Annual Salary Range is according to education and experience (includes a competitive benefits package of paid time off, health insurance, life insurance, etc.) according to the AEA Working Agreement located within the Human Resource section of the Austin Public Schools website at www.austin.k12.mn.us.
