7 hours per day (Monday – Friday, except June 19th as there is no school)

Effective Date of Employment:
7 hours set up/ program training prior to the beginning of Camp Propel, for classroom teachers
7 hours Monday-Friday (June 17 – 28, no school on June 19th) for classroom teachers
Specialist hours are determined based on enrollment at each site, and subject to change

  Job Summary:

1. Teach summer school curriculum of Independent School District 196.
2. Carry out responsibilities as defined by the site coordinator/special education coordinators.
3. Maintain good communication and cooperation with staff and parents.

 
Qualifications: 

1. Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach elementary education.
2. Strong general academic background.
3. Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community.
4. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.

Compensation:
$40.00/hr. for student contact days, training and preparation on non-student contact days
