NRHEG Schools are looking to hire 2 dedicated Elementary Teachers to educate our students.  Candidates should seek to accomplish the school district’s mission and vision of education through instruction and example and provide lessons that meet students’ requirements, interests and capabilities. 

To ensure success, candidates must have strong interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.

Qualifications

• Must hold appropriate Minnesota teaching license in K-6 Education.

• Demonstrates the ability to operate a computer, software, and necessary classroom technology.

• Experience with PBIS preferred.

• Must have strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.

• Possess a deep knowledge of core areas such as Language Arts, Math, and Literacy.

• Dedication to building positive student, staff, and parent relationships.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Uses the District approved curriculum to develop lesson plans, instructional materials and adapts plans for individualized and/or small group instruction.

• Maintains and improves professional skills by participating in building and department meetings, formal coursework, workshops, Professional Learning Communities (on a regular basis), and seminars in an effort to stay current with best teaching practices.

• Integrates technology into instruction.

• Evaluates pupils’ academic, behavior, and social growth, keeps appropriate records in a timely fashion, and prepares progress reports.
