Austin Public Schools Community Learning Center has an opening for the 2024-2025 school year for the position of ECFE Assistant. If you like working in a team environment with students and families that are excited to learn this is the position for you.
Description:
- 35 hours per week at CLC
- Assist Preschool teacher working with 3 or 4 year old preschool students
- Your day includes two half day preschool classes.
- Highly diverse classroom
- Some night events are required
- ECFE/School Readiness program is a 4 Star Parent Aware Site
- ECFE/School Readiness program is a Pyramid Site
Requirements:
- Candidates must have experience working with children in early childhood setting
- Candidates should have experience working with diverse cultures
- Candidates must be able to sit on floor and work with very active children
