ECFE Teacher – Early Childhood / Home Visitor
Part-Time  180 days/year; 6 hours/day (All staff are required to work one evening per week)

Location:  Riverview Early Childhood Center

Early Childhood Family Education Home Visiting Program provides early learning opportunities, resources and support for families with children ages birth-Kindergarten in their homes.

Child Care Collaborative provides information and support to home and center based child care providers.

Duties:  Prepare and conduct home visits.  Be familiar with area resources.  Maintain records and participate in staff meetings.  Additional duties include working with the Child Care Collaborative offering support for in-home and child care centers. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:  Current MN Teaching License in Early Childhood Education / Parent Education and BA degree.  Ability to work with parents and children, age birth to five, one on one or in groups. Knowledge of family systems, adults and child development; group facilitator skills; strong organizational skills and maintain participant records.  Attend staffing meetings.  Ability to maintain regular attendance, including completing an assigned day.  Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.  Use of personal vehicle for home visits. Must be physically working in the building/on site.  Perform other duties as assigned.  Work one evening a week as needed.

Rate of pay:  $32.61/hour and up, DOQ.

Start Date:  7/1/24.  This position may be filled immediately after 7 posting days (after: 5/1/24) by an appropriately licensed candidate (PELSB Tier 3 or Tier 4 license); or by a candidate eligible for PELSB Tier 1 or Tier 2 license, or OFP (Out of Field Permission) after a 15-day posting period.
