Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (B-2) – Long Term Substitute 

Salary Range/Hourly Rate: Per Educator Agreement

Closing Date: Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting.  The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.  

Start Date:  September 18, 2024 – January 12, 2025

Work week: Monday – Friday (1.0 FTE)

Student Level: Early Childhood Special Education B-2

Position Summary:

Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching and direct instructional services or specific learning programs, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student’s ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of Student Support Services Administrators. Continuous oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional – Student Support Services.

Education ane /or Experience
Bachelor’s degree with coursework in special education teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Requirements:
MN Teaching License in the area of Early Childhood Special Education or related services. Sped Forms Training.
