Description

Description:  Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a District Special Education Lead Teacher at Parkview Center School (.8 FTE) and Harambee Elementary School (.2 FTE). This is a 1.0 FTE position for the 2024-2025 school year starting August 26, 2024. The Special Education Lead Teacher is responsible for supporting case managers with scheduling, interventions, behavioral strategies, overseeing building due process, instructional coaching, and participating in collaborative teams. 

Qualifications: A MN Teaching License in Special Education and at least 3 years of special education teaching experience is required. Demonstrated competence in core academic subjects, behavioral management, and development and implementation of interventions. Committed to ensuring students are served in their least restrictive environment and use data to inform decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in a federal setting III Emotional and Behavioral Disorder (EBD) center-based classroom.  

Compensation:  Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $49,171 (see attached matrix), plus a district contribution toward health insurance and other benefits as outlined in the Teacher’s contract.
