Special Education Paraprofessional Positions – 3 positions to fill in the Dassel-Cokato High School

Dassel-Cokato High School Special Education Paraprofessional (3 available)

Qualifications: Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities, and/or social-emotional needs,
preferred.

Duties to include: Assist the special education teachers in providing specific services to students receiving
special education services. Support provided varies between working individually and in groups within the
general education classrooms, common spaces and/or special education groups. Paraprofessionals are
responsible for providing a safe and welcoming environment for students, building relationships, and working
collaboratively with special and general education staff.

The morning and afternoon portion of this position will be directly working with students ranging in disabilities
that can include (but is not limited to) supervision on and off transportation, toileting, personal cares, etc.
These time frames will not include any responsibilities with providing direct academic support, but rather will
be behavioral, physical and personal care support, in nature.

Position: Full-Time hours (may range from 32-40 hours/week), depending on student need; THREE positions
are available

Location: Dassel-Cokato High School
