We offer an early learning center for preschool and kindergarten students, including a community education center. This center includes many outdoor and indoor active learning spaces. Jefferson Elementary provides programming for grades 1-4, focusing on small group instruction, responsive classroom, STEM opportunities and core curriculum. We offer a middle school structure and environment for grades 5-8, focused on advisory, exploratory and experiential learning opportunities. Our high school is for grades 9-12, offering college, vocational and work ready courses. We have many opportunities for Fine arts and athletics for all students. A Career Technical Education (CTE) Center provides students with opportunities in automotive, welding, manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, construction careers and cabinetry.

Industrial Technology/Career and Technical Education Instructor – High School (1.0 FTE)
Will consider tier I/II/III or IV licenses
Job Summary:
We are looking for a teacher to provide instruction to students in grades 9-12 in the area of Industrial Technology Education and work in collaboration with Agriculture teachers to promote our career pathways program connecting students to essential careers in Industrial Technology.
The certified teacher develops lesson plans, conducts classroom instruction, evaluates, and assesses both instructional material and student performance. The teacher interprets student progress and communicates regularly with parents about student strengths, weaknesses and/or programs. The teacher is a member of an interdisciplinary team and works collaboratively with colleagues to make decisions about team programming and supporting students through intervention and enrichment.
Qualifications:
Five years experience in the industry or two year AA degree or certification
Desired Qualifications:
Candidate should display a general background in any of the following areas: welding, metal fabrication, mills and lathes, robotics, industry and trades, drafting (CAD/enroute), electronics and computer technology used in programing and machining .
