Coach- Head Wrestling

Description of Position and Duties:
The Head Wrestling Coach will be responsible for leading the Varsity Wrestling team and directing the lower level teams and program as a whole within the philosophy and rules of Albany Area Schools, the Albany Huskies Athletics Program and in accordance with the
Minnesota State High School League. This person must be able to build relationships and work successfully with student athletes, assistant coaches, parents, the community, the Activities Director and school administration as well as other programs/coaches in the District.

Scheduled hours and days per week:
Season runs from Mid November – Early March
Practice and Meet times as scheduled throughout the season – there will be weekend and evening competitions.
There are off season duties as well – coordination of youth tournaments, camps, clinics, inventory, meetings, etc.

Education Required/Qualifications:
Coaching Experience and Head Coaching Certification are required
Applicants must meet MSHSL Coaching and Concussion Requirements
