CLUB TEACHERS-SUMMER PROGRAMMING HIGH SCHOOL
Bemidji School District is seeking Club teachers at the Bemidji High School site for their 21ST Century Community Learning Centers multi-year grant program. This position is for up to 12 hours per week for up to 6 weeks with a $30.00 hourly rate of pay. The dates will be from June 10 to July 18, with no programming on June 19 or July 4. The afternoon summer programming sessions will run from 12:00-1:00 p.m. or 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the high school. Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree and experience working in schools, along with relevant experience in whatever club activity they are proposing for the summer program. Preference will be given to those who possess a Minnesota teaching license, and classroom teaching experience. Proposed club activities must be tied to high school academic standards, with priority being given to those that support STEAM standards, and support areas of need within the 21CCLC programming 
 
Responsibilities:
Club Teachers will be responsible for leading selected clubs to support students enrolled in the program. Club Teachers will complete attendance counts, lead activities, and gather academic data from instructional activities being implemented that day. Each lead club teacher will implement student learning activities that support the targeted goals for a particular group of students.

Program Overview:
The 21st Century Community Learning Center program operates Monday through Thursday at three sites on school days during both the school year and summer for students in grades Kindergarten through 12. The focus of the programming is literacy, academic enrichment, and family educational engagement. Activities will vary slightly by grade level, but all three centers will have academic enrichment and tutoring, social-emotional learning activities, arts and language enrichment activities, and nutrition education and physical movement activities. In addition, a major component of the program will be monthly family engagement events with a focus on literacy.
