Position: Camp ROCKS! Mini Camps: Skills Boost – Small Group Tutoring Instructor

General Purpose of Job
Seeking qualified, instructors to teach elementary Skills Boost small group tutoring sessions.  Reading Rocket and Second Scoop of Math are designed to meet the academic needs of students who are seeking a boost in reading, math or both!  Sessions are offered to families with students going into 1st-4th grade. Our amazing tutoring curriculum aligns with district and state standards for both reading and math.  Classes are held in some of our elementary school locations in a relaxed, academic setting that is conducive to learning.

Location to be determined – will know in mid-late January, 2024
Other locations that house the Kidstop School-Age Care program may be available as well (TBD)
 
Grades         
1-4th grade in 2023-24 school year
 
Program Dates & Times

  • Classes are held Monday – Thursday
  • Reading from 9:00 am-10:30 am and Math from 10:45 am-12:15 pm
  • Dates: July 29-August 1 & August 5-8
  • Kidstop site locations vary (TBD)

Ratio             
Approx. 1 teacher per 15 students
 
Salary              
Per casual salary contract guidelines
