Position: Camp ROCKS! Academic Adventures – Casual Summr Classroom Instructor Substitute
 
General Purpose of Job 

  • Responsible to  implement and teach theme-based curriculum and learning experiences for the students in the classroom. 
  • Provide experiential and integrated learning in reading, math, art and science.
  • Provide a variety of alternative learning techniques and experiences for the students.

Camp Dates

  • June 24-27 (Mon-Thu)
  • July 8-11 (Mon-Thu)
  • July 15-18 (Mon-Thu)
  • July 22-25 (Mon-Thu)
  • July 29-August 1 (Mon-Thu)

Sites & Hours

  • Sites to be determined at a later date
  • Program hours are: 8:15 am-2:45 pm or 9:15 am-3:45 pm depending on site and bussing.
  • Instructor sub hours are: 7:45 am-3:15 pm or 8:45 am-4:15 pm
  • *Times could change based on final bus routes and other summer program needs.

Salary:  Per casual salary contract guidelines
 
Required Trainings

  • New staff training held via Google Meet from 4:30-6 pm (date TBD)
  • All summer staff meeting/camp set-up – Thu, June 20, 2024 from 8 am-4 pm. 

Timeline: Staffing decisions will be made by May and are dependent on final student enrollment numbers.
