Early Childhood Building Nurse

Position Start Date:  Fall 2024
Days/Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00AM to 4:00PM
Rate of Pay:  $33.95/hr.(Contract under negotiation)
Responsible To:  Building Principal/Supervisor of Health Services
 
Position Purpose:  To enhance the educational process by minimizing or removing health-related barriers to learning, while promoting a safe environment for all students and staff.  Duties are to be performed in accordance with standards of professional nurse practice, district/state board of education policies and procedures and Minnesota State law regarding nurse practice.To provide first aid, hearing and vision screening, immunization tracking, monitoring for communicable diseases and managing students with chronic health conditions and special education needs.
Qualifications/Licensure:  Current MN Registered Nurse. CPR/AED certification. Bachelors in Nursing preferred.

Benefits of Employment:  Eligible for benefits as negotiated with District 112 and Registered Nurse.  This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
