BPS Summer School Intern (Must be in Intro to Education Class)

 BPS Summer School Intern (Must be in Intro to Education class to Apply)

Effective Date: 
 June 20- July 21, 2024

Hours:
 6 hours per day

Salary:
 $15.45 per hour

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in BPS Introduction to Education Class to apply

Responsibilities include: 

• Assist with teachers and students in both small group and large group settings

• Encourage and assist in positive social interactions

• Partner to help meet student support needs

• Set up classroom with necessary materials for class

• Make sure classroom is tidy and safe

• Work with smaller groups of students for remedial support

• Assist with supervision during recess, lunch, and field trips

• Assist teachers with various tasks including grading assignments and clerical support

• Provide support on field trips

• Help monitor lunch and recess

• Help with morning entry and crossing to OGM after bus arrival

• Help with dismissal procedures – getting students safely in cars and busses
