Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Specialist

• Current Minnesota K-12 Autism Spectrum Disorders teaching licensure or the ability to attain one
• A strong understanding of students with special education needs in Autism
• Knowledge of instructional design and curriculum for students with educational disabilities
• Assessment and evaluation skills for meeting eligibility criteria
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs for students with ASD
• Foster open communication with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding students’ progress and individual needs
• Collaborate with other special education professionals, paraprofessionals, and support staff to create a cohesive and inclusive learning environment
• Ability to work itinerantly between multiple sites

Salary and benefits:  Depend on qualifications.  Minimum starting salary is $53,560.
