Job Title: Assistant Wrestling Coach

Primary Objective:
Provide instruction and coaching to student athletes to develop skills associated with Wrestling.
Contribute to the educational system by providing life lessons associated with team orientated sports.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification
High School Diploma
Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Special Knowledge or Skills
General knowledge of Minnesota State High School League rules and regulations
Effective communication, organizational, and managerial skills

Major Responsibilities/Duties:
Instruction:

1) Provide a wide variety of instructional techniques to meet the needs and improve the skills of each participant
2) Guide participants down successful paths later in life through life lessons associated with being apart of team
3) Promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship 

Program Management:
4) Develop and enforce expectations or requirements associated with being a participant within your program
5) Monitor and inform participants of eligibility requirements associated with participating in extracurricular activities
6) Apply and enforce student discipline during athletic contests, practice sessions, and while on trips off school property in accordance with Student Code of Conduct and student handbook.
7) Work directly with the head coach in developing and implementing a consistent culture associated with the wrestling program
8) Maintain an accurate record of inventory associated with your program
9) Understand all objectives and guidelines associated with the Lake Park-Audubon activities handbook

Communication:
10) Establish and maintain open communication amongst participants, parents, teachers, and other administration
