Assistant Gymnastics Coach

POSITION:  Assistant Gymnastics Coach

START:  November 2024

HOURS:  Vary based upon practice time and meet times.
 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  To carry out the aims and objectives of the gymnastics program as outlined by the head coach; develop student-athletes of character through the sport of gymnastics, instruct athletes in individual and team fundamentals, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. Must be able to adjust work for practices and meets. Assist with games, practices, and the supervision of athletes in the gymnastics program.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  Complete MSHSL coaching modules before November 2024 and previous experience working with high school age students. A strong background in gymnastics as a participant and/or coach is required. Must have good communication and organizational skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, parents, community members and students. Also, understands the role of the level the individual is coaching as it relates to the program.
