POSITION:
Assistant Director of Early Learning
SUMMARY:
With the focus to support and advance the Edina Public Schools’ mission, vision and core values, the Assistant Director of Early Learning provides oversight and direct supervision of the early childhood programs offered through Edina Public Schools’ Community Education and Student Support Services departments including Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE), School Readiness, Preschool, Early Childhood Screening, Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), and extended learning programs. The Assistant Director of Early Learning works in cooperation with the Teaching and Learning Department to determine and be accountable for appropriate kindergarten readiness objectives and early childhood programs that enrich, expand, and support the academic and social-emotional needs of each and every student.

$133,128 – $144,266 depending on qualifications and experience

EDUCATION/
LICENSE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education required. Master’s degree in special education required. A minimum of five (5) years of teaching and/or leadership experience required.
Minnesota teaching license in early childhood education/parent education and administrative license as a Director of Special Education required.
