Description
Minnewaska Area Schools has an opening for an ASL Interpreter. Provide interpretation of the instructional tasks assigned and facilitation of the communication that takes place in the classroom. Prefer Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RID) certified interpreter but will accept an applicant who has successfully completed an interpreter-training program affiliated with an accredited educational institution or someone willing to complete the training. Experience with primary students, collaboration skills, and knowledge of cued speech to facilitate early learning speech and reading activities is a plus.
