The SouthWest Metro Intermediate District #288 has a full-time opening starting 2024/2025 school year for an Agriculture Education Teacher/Instructor for 9-12th grade in the Career and Technical Education Department in Shakopee, MN.

Description:
This position is full-time and is located at our Dean Lakes Education Center location; includes 8 hours per day and 185 Contract Days per year.
Pay & Benefits:Â
Starting pat at $48,076 based on education and experience. Competitive and comprehensive benefit package available.Â
Job Summary:
Provide instruction in the content area. Responsibilities include lesson planning and instruction, conducting ongoing assessment, monitoring student attendance, collaborating with other staff, and keeping student records.Â
Qualifications:
- Agriculture Instructor Teaching License preferred
- Experience working with high school aged youth
- Curriculum development experience
- Community involvement
- Desire to run student organization – FFA
