Hutchinson Schools Activity Department is seeking an advisor for National Honor Society beginning with the 24-25 school year

Description:
2 hours per day, 20-25 days per year

Job Summary:
To carry out the Purpose Statement of the program as well as the aims and objectives of the activities program.  This person will be responsible for tryouts, practices, and competitions for this activity.

Qualifications:
Prefer Minnesota teaching certification.
Prefer employment as a teacher in the Hutchinson School District.
Previous experience in assigned activity is desirable.
Has knowledge and background in the assigned activity

Nominal Stipend:
The district will pay the coach a fixed stipend as delineated in Schedule C, of the master agreement with the
Education Hutchinson.
The stipend amount is considered a “nominal stipend”.  The amount of the stipend will not change based on the
number of daily hours that are devoted to coaching/advisor duties or the team’s level of success.  If team enrollment
is not met, the district may make staffing reductions that reflect program level offerings within the first two weeks of
the program.  Any service provided during this two-week timeframe will be paid on a weekly pro-rated basis.   In
addition, if the selected candidate is unable to fulfill coaching/advising duties for five or more days, the stipend
paid will be pro-rated.
