Adventures Plus Substitutes positions
Adventures Plus is a child care program providing before and after school care for elementary age students and is located in various elementary schools throughout the District.

Child Care Assistant Substitutes
Duties:  Child Care Assistants supervise and interact with school-age children and assist in planning appropriate activities and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:  Minimum 16 years of age.  Current First Aid certification or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.  Must be physically working in the building.
Rate of Pay:  $16.50/hour  This position is premium pay eligible.

Child Care Assistant Substitutes – Lane 2
Duties:  Lane 2 Child Care Assistants support a child with special needs, according to the child’s inclusion plan. Supervise and interact with school-age children and assist in planning appropriate activities.  Perform a group leadership role if requested.  Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent.  120 hours of education in a child related area -or- 12 quarter credits in a child related area.  Proof of CPI certification, or the ability to pass the CPI class.  1040 hours of paid experience working with children.  Current First Aid certification or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.  Must be physically working in the building.
Rate of Pay:  $18.00/hour  This position is premium pay eligible.

Site Leader Substitutes
Duties:  Site Leaders plan and carry out activities for school age children and supervise children involved in the program.  Supervise Child Care Assistant staff and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent.  Child development certificate or two years post secondary education in child development, recreation, or education; and one year of experience working with children. Current First Aid and CPR certification or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.  Proof of CPI certification, or the ability to pass the CPI class.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.  Must be physically working in the building.
Rate of Pay:  $20.13/hour  This position is premium pay eligible.
