Adult Basic Education (ABE) teacher in Howard Lake – Part-time

This position involves providing direct instruction to adults in an Adult Basic Education program in Howard Lake evenings from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m plus 1/2 hour prep. (Which evening may be able to be changed)  Up to 40 paid professional development hours are available annually.

Responsibilities will include providing direct instruction to adult students who are working to improve their basic skills and/or obtain their GED. Position also includes student assessment, returning student phone calls, monitoring student attendance, completing necessary student record keeping and other duties as assigned.   Applicant must be computer literate.
 
Minimum qualifications:  Valid MN teaching license.
 
Starting Hourly Wage: competitive 
Start Date: Training immediately after hire
