Qualifications Required:
Minnesota Department of Teaching license in Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD). Academic Behavior Specialist licensure considered; multiple licenses preferred.

*Work from-home option on teacher work days (7 days 2024-2025)
*187 Duty days with ten annual leave days (Up to 5 personal days per year, total accumulation to 200 days)
*Up to 8 weeks of district-paid maternity leave (individual does not use personal accumulated leave)

Duties: Develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the academic, functional, and social/emotional/behavioral needs of students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities in a Federal Setting III Classroom and within the general education setting; evaluates and assesses student academic, functional, and behavioral progress; functions as IEP Manager to assigned students and completes all due process requirements. Directs the work of Educational Assistants, and collaborates with other service providers and educators. Communicates with parents/guardians.
