The Special Education Teacher is responsible to plan, organize and implement an appropriate learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential base on HOPE’s instructional curriculum for students. Work is performed under the supervision of the principal.

HCPA is a Title I Charter School that serves students through a school-wide plan for instruction that is focused on the needs of at-risk students. The Elementary Special Education Teacher is Responsible for instructing elementary special education students from grades K-5. Create a flexible classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth. Instruct students in grade level content, making subjects accessible based on a student’s reading and math skill level per their IEP plan.
