The Behavior Interventionist is responsible for providing early intervention services for behavioral difficulties. The Behavioral Interventionist will be a member of the Special Instruction Staff and the School Wide Support Team and will assist with program development including procedures to facilitate data based decision-making. The Behavioral Interventionist will also support school-wide efforts to develop and implement a social emotional curriculum K-8.
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; Evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives; follows State mandated due process procedures and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students.
