Youth Recreation Coach (CE)

Community Education

There are positions available for Youth Recreation Coaches with the Community Education beginning June 2023.

Summary of Duties:  
Co-manage a group of 20+ school-aged children who can effectively teach basic fundamental sports skills to this age group. Each session is 1 hour in length where basic skills are taught through age-appropriate drills. After 30-40 minutes of skill work, a game is played to finish the hour. Coaches’ manuals with practice plans will be provided for the specific sport. Basketball, Volleyball, T-ball, Soccer, Flag Football, lacrosse, and golf are all the sports offered in our program throughout the year.      

Qualifications:
Experience with working or volunteering with school-aged youth is preferred.

Other Information: 
Hourly Rate starting at $11.00/hour based on experience
