Wildcat Care HIgh School Student Sub

This posting is for hiring to fill a sub postition for our High School aides in the Goodhue School’s school-aged childcare program. This program is known as Wildcat Care. The school year program runs from September through The end of the school year. The program is in session Monday through Friday except holidays. We are open on non-school days. 

This position would be to fill in for others when they are unable to work, mornings or afternoons. Wildcat Care is staffed from 3:15- 5:30 PM( M, T, TH, F) and 2:15-5:30 PM (W).

An aide is responsible for helping the program lead and program assistants in providing high-quality child care. This requires helping coordinate and facilitate activities such as arts and crafts, organizing games, and helping with homework if needed.

A desire to work with kids and learn more about youth development, recreational leadership, and management is desirable.

The position is paid at the starting hourly rate of $14.27.

Responsibilities include helping with the supervision of children at Wildcat Care and while on field trips. They also include helping implement daily and weekly activities and being a top-notch team member.

The successful applicant must meet the following requirements:

-Must be willing and capable of ensuring the program operates in compliance with all legal requirements

   -Must be a minimum of 16 years of age

    -Must like working with kids

   -Must be responsible, energetic, creative, organized, and reliable

   -Must be a team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
