Position:
   Water Safety Aide

Hours:
   Part-time positions 
   Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday evenings
  Saturday mornings

Location:
  Valley View Middle School Pool

Minimum Certification:
   American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Aide Certification or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Recommended Certification:
   American Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED

Description:
   Under the direction of the Aquatics Program Coordinator, a Water Safety Aide will teach people of all ages using the American Red Cross “Learn to Swim” Program.  Water Safety Aide must be an energetic, dedicated and motivated individual who enjoys swimming and teaching children or adults.  The Water Safety Aide will work closely with a Water Safety Instructor during swim lessons to learn how to teach swimming to participants of all ages.  

Must be at least 16 years of age to apply.
