POSITION: Transportation Director
 
DESCRIPTION: Plans, directs, coordinates, and oversees all functions pertaining to the operation and maintenance of the district transportation department including scheduling, personnel, equipment, facilities, assigning school transportation services, preparing and maintaining records and files, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. Supervision is exercised over all personnel in the department. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the general public.
 
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma required. Valid Minnesota driver’s license with CDL and School Bus Endorsement or ability to obtain preferred. Preference will be given to candidates that hold an associates or technical trade degree (bachelor’s degree preferred). Candidates should have experience working with school transportation, including safety regulation or be willing to receive necessary training. Previous experience successfully supervising/managing personnel is desired.
 
SALARY: Depends on Qualifications
 
HOURS:  10-11 Month (depending on summer programming)
