Job Description:
The Title Specialist will be responsible for managing critical administrative and operational functions related to Title I, II, III and IV programs, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and supporting the needs of our staff, students, and families. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners, including non-public schools.
ESEA Responsibilities:
- Manage Title II and Title IV grant applications
- Train and advise non-public school leaders about the requirements and opportunities regarding receiving Title I, Title II, Title III, and Title IV Create a plan and allocate Title resources with non-public schools
- Assist with monthly Pay Verifications for staff paid through Title funds
- Train RPS staff and verify monthly Time and Effort (T/E) and Personal Accountability Reports (PARs) for staff paid through Title funds
- Design and maintain the organization of key Title I, II, III, and IV documentation in a format that is accessible for reporting and audits
- Secure key approvals and signatures on Title documentation
- Prepare and host yearly Non-Public Title l meeting
- Support in the coordination of external donations for students and families experiencing homelessnessÂ
- Work with Transportation Department and McKinney Vento Liaison to reduce barriers to school access for students experiencing homelessnessÂ
- Understanding of educational programs and have a willingness to learn
- Participate in file reviews and audits as needed
- Participate in Federal Programs trainings including through Minnesota Department of Education
- Other duties as assigned

Work Environment:
This position operates in a school or district office setting with some flexibility to work remotely, with occasional travel to school district sites and meetings. This position must balance multiple priorities, often requiring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
This role is instrumental in driving the success of all Title initiatives, ensuring that documentation is organized and accessible.
