Description

Oshawa Learning Academy is looking for a temporary and part-time (.17) ELL teacher.

  • The Oshawa Learning Academy is a unique public educational facility serving male students who participate in mental health treatment through the residential program at the Leo A. Hoffmann Center. The student population is very diverse in terms of age, ability, behavior and emotional maturity. The Oshawa Learning Center is equipped to provide appropriate education services to these students, as well as to meet their related needs.

Duration of Position: December 2, 2024 – January 10, 2025 (tentative end date)

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Current and Appropriate MN Teaching License or the Ability to Obtain a Tiered Licensure

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents. 

  • Desire to work with diverse population of students.
