Job summary:  To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. 
 

Responsibilities and tasks include: 

  • At Park Brook the selected candidate will provide academic interventions for small groups in both a push-in and pull-out model, for the most part in reading.
  • At Garden City the selected candidate will teach math, reading and social skills in a resource room setting.
  • Special education due process paperwork may be required.
  • End-of-year progress reports will need to be completed.

Minimum qualifications include: 

  • A valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (LD; EBD; DCD, ASD).  
  • * and/or authorizes the district to complete an Out of Field Permission request (OFP) request. Additional information can be found at PELSB’s OFP guidelines. 
  • *and/or meet the Tier 1 PELSB guidelines. 

 

Salary:  View salary grid on Pages 51 – 52 of the teacher’s contract Education Minnesota Osseo 

Work schedule: The position is at Park Brook Elementary in the morning, and Garden City Elementary in the afternoon.

Job type or FTE: 1.0 FTE, temporary April 5, 2023 through June 9, 2023

Bargaining unit: Education Minnesota Osseo
