SouthWest Metro Intermediate District #288 has a full-time opening for a Medical Careers, Health Science, or Nursing Services Teacher in the Career and Technical Education department at our Dean Lakes Education Center.

Description:
This position is full-time. This is 8 hours a day for 185 Contract Days. 

Job Summary:
Provide instruction in the content area. Responsibilities include lesson planning and instruction, conducting ongoing assessments, monitoring student attendance, collaborating with other staff, and keeping student records. 

Qualifications:   

• Experience working with multicultural populations and English language learners preferred.
• Minnesota Teaching License in the career and technical field of Allied Health, Nursing Services, or Health Sciences for K-12 required.           
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to build successful relationships with students and staff.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.
