Elementary PARAEDUCATORS  for TARGETED SERVICES ELEMENTARY SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM
One temporary summer worker Paraeducator position is available at each site. 
 

DATES & SUMMER HOURS:
Wednesday, June 11 – set up day; 7.5 hours
Monday, June 16 – Friday, June 20; No school June 19
Monday, June 23 – Friday, June 27

HOURS:  9:00 am – 12:30 pm.
3.75 hours per day.  15 minutes prior and 15 minutes after student contact time for bus supervision. Assignments will be made based on student needs. Total hours are 37.25.
 
TARGETED SERVICES SITES:   Andover Elementary, Madison Elementary, Mississippi Elementary, Oxbow Creek Elementary
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in a “Student Success Room” to redirect students when they are removed temporarily from the classroom. Duties Supervise, assist, and interact with students in the areas of literacy and math. Assist in planning and preparation of summer classes, bus supervision, working in a team, taking direction from supervisors, and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent.  Must be physically working in the building.

RATE OF PAY:  New Hires $18.75/ Hour.;  Current Paras accepting employment in their same category shall be paid at their school year ending hourly rate on the salary schedule through their summer employment, including seniority and academic credits.  Paras accepting employment in a different category shall be paid that category’s school year ending hourly rate on the salary schedule at the relevant step including seniority and academic credits. Assignments will be made based on students needs. There is no sick leave or vacation for summer staff.
 
ACTIVE CASUAL HOURS AS NEEDED BASED ON ENROLLMENT.
